About Hakuboku

Hakuboku is a Japanese design studio dedicated to preserving traditional craftsmanship while bridging it with contemporary design. Founded in 2015, we work with master artisans across Japan to create pieces that honor heritage while embracing modern aesthetics.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring awareness to traditional Japanese craft techniques by creating modern, functional works that appeal to a global audience. We believe that preserving these techniques ensures that cultural heritage remains relevant and valued in contemporary society.
